Day 1: Arrive Barcelona, be picked up at the airport and transferred to the Silken Ramblas hotel where you’ll enjoy a welcome reception with wine and canapes.

Day 2: Your senses will be close to overloaded as we visit Cordoniu winery. A full day of visiting the winery, special activities, and wine-tasting with food to match the wine.

Day 3: View the mountains from the top at Monserrat; enjoy a guided tour, ride up the funicular, visit the museum, and take in the sites at this monastery and church built into the side of a mountain. Following your visit to Monserrat, you’ll visit Oller del Mas winery where you’ll experience their winery built on the foundation of an 10th century medieval castle, their wine and their food.

Day 4: Free time in the morning to rest and relax, or explore the streets of downtown Barcelona. Leave before lunch to visit Abadal winery. Wine-tasting and food at the winery. Return for dinner on your own in Barcelona (if you have room for it!)

Day 5: This is the day to discover Barcelona. You’ll have a full-day pass to hop-on and hop-off a bus that takes you to all the highlights of the city. And we’ve arranged for a visit to Sagrada Familia – Antoni Gaudi’s architectural triumph that began in 1882 is still being constructed and cannot be missed.

Day 6: Transfer to Cap Roig hotel on the beautiful Costa Brava. Along the way, you’ll visit an organic winery near Peralada for a tour, wine-tasting and lunch, and then you’ll be treated to a guided visit of Peralada itself. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: It’s back to the Romans! You’ll be guided through Roman ruins and then you’ll be visiting the winery at Bell Loc where you will appreciate why the Romans took such delight in this countryside. Be prepared to wander the paths up the hills, peer at the underground and very modern cellar, and taste fabulous food and wine.

Day 8: Transfer to the Penedes region of Catalunya where you’ll be charmed by the wine, the ancient church, and the tour at Can Bas Domini winery. You’ll lunch at a local restaurant and then you’ll continue to Can descRegut winery for fun in the vineyard and dinner. At the end of the day, you’ll be back at the Silken Ramblas hotel in Barcelona.

Day 9: Visit Alella & Granollers to enjoy the view of the sea and Barcelona from the mountaintop. Then you’ll visit a special winery for a tour, tasting and late lunch. A farewell reception will be held at the hotel in the evening.

Day 10: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
